This Privacy Policy explains how Reveal (“Reveal”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data in connection with the Reveal iOS application and this website. Reveal is operated by Neo Schulz as a sole proprietor in Germany.
Reveal is designed so that video, audio, text inputs and generated analysis results remain locally on the user’s iPhone. We do not operate a server that receives or stores the media submitted for analysis.

3. Data we process
3.1 Media and analysis content
Video, audio and text selected or entered for an analysis are processed locally on the iPhone. Analysis results are also stored locally. We do not receive this content through our own systems.
3.2 Anonymous app identifier and referral data
Reveal may create an anonymous app identifier. Apple CloudKit may be used to store data required for the referral programme, such as a referral code, who referred an installation, qualified referral counts, unlocked credits and Lifetime Pro status. This information is not intended to identify you by name.
3.3 Subscription information
Subscriptions and purchase restoration are processed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. We may receive entitlement information necessary to determine whether Reveal Pro is active. We do not receive your full payment-card information.
3.4 Push notifications
When you enable notifications, Apple Push Notification service may process a device token and delivery information so notifications can reach your device. You can disable notifications in iOS Settings at any time.
3.5 Support communications
If you contact us by email, we process your email address, message and any information you voluntarily provide in order to respond.
3.6 Website access data
When you visit this website, Cloudflare may process technical connection data, such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and security-related logs, to deliver and protect the site. We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics scripts on this website.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide the app and website, manage subscriptions and referral rewards, deliver requested notifications, respond to support requests, maintain security and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of a contract, your consent, compliance with legal obligations or our legitimate interests in operating and securing Reveal.
5. Apple services and international processing
Reveal relies on Apple services including iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, the App Store and Apple Push Notification service. Apple processes data under its own terms and privacy documentation. Depending on your location and Apple’s infrastructure, data may be processed outside your country. Applicable safeguards are handled by the relevant service provider.
6. Website hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data necessary for content delivery, abuse prevention and network security. We do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics on this site.
7. Retention
Local media and analysis results remain on the device until you delete them, delete app data or remove the app. CloudKit referral and entitlement data may be retained for as long as needed to operate the referral programme, prevent fraud, honour earned access and meet legal obligations. Support emails are retained only for as long as reasonably required to resolve the request and document necessary correspondence.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
Because Reveal uses an anonymous identifier, we may need information from your device or app installation to locate a relevant CloudKit record. Submit requests to neo.schulz@icloud.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to your installation before acting.
9. Children
Reveal is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users below the age at which they can validly consent to relevant data processing in their country should use Reveal only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Reveal is not directed to children under 13.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and rely on Apple and Cloudflare security controls for their respective services. No system can guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Reveal’s features, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
