1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Reveal – AI Lie Detector. By downloading, accessing or using Reveal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. What Reveal provides
Reveal provides an automated, AI-assisted assessment of behavioural, facial, vocal or textual signals. It is an entertainment and informational product. Reveal does not establish facts and does not scientifically or legally determine whether any person is lying or telling the truth.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Reveal. If the law in your country requires parental consent for your use of the app or related data processing, you may use Reveal only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
4. Your content and permissions
You remain responsible for any video, audio, text or other content you select, record, import, analyse, export or share. You must have all rights, permissions and lawful grounds required to use that content, including any necessary permission relating to privacy, publicity, copyright and audio or video recording.
You must not present Reveal’s output as verified fact. When sharing an analysis, you are responsible for providing context and avoiding defamatory, misleading, harassing or unlawful claims about the person shown or heard.
5. Prohibited uses
You must not use Reveal:
- for legal proceedings, law enforcement, immigration, insurance, credit, employment, education, healthcare, safety-critical decisions or other high-impact determinations;
- to accuse a person of criminal, dishonest or harmful conduct as a statement of fact;
- to harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit or deceive another person;
- with content obtained unlawfully or without necessary rights or consent;
- to reverse engineer, interfere with, overload or fraudulently manipulate the app, subscriptions or referral programme;
- in any way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
6. Free analysis and Reveal Pro
Reveal currently provides one free analysis. Reveal Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription for €1.99 per week. Payment is charged to your Apple Account after confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account settings before the end of the current billing period. Apple controls billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds in accordance with App Store rules. Prices and taxes may vary by region where permitted.
You can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS under Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting Reveal does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
7. Referral programme
Reveal may allow users to unlock access by inviting friends. Three qualified referrals may unlock free access or analysis credits, and 50 qualified referrals may unlock Lifetime Pro. A referral is qualified only when the invited person installs Reveal through the applicable referral method and completes the qualifying action defined in the app, such as completing a first analysis.
Duplicate installations, automated activity, self-referrals, fabricated accounts, payment manipulation or other abuse do not qualify. We may reject, reverse or remove rewards where we reasonably identify fraud, technical error or misuse. “Lifetime Pro” means access to the Reveal Pro features offered in the current Reveal product for as long as Reveal remains available and operated; it does not guarantee that the app or every feature will exist indefinitely.
8. Changes and availability
We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue parts of Reveal to improve the product, maintain security, comply with law or address technical and commercial requirements. We will not intentionally remove a paid entitlement without a legitimate reason, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
9. Accuracy disclaimer
Human behaviour is complex. Facial movement, speech patterns, hesitation, stress and other signals can have many explanations unrelated to deception. Reveal’s results may be incomplete, misleading or wrong. Do not rely on a result as proof, professional advice or the sole basis for any decision.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions, allegations, publications, disputes, losses or harm caused by treating Reveal’s output as factual, using content without permission, or using the app contrary to these Terms. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and foreseeable, typical damage.
11. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, unlawful conduct or material breaches of these Terms. You may stop using Reveal at any time; active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
